Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is:

• When you book: your first and last name, email address, phone number, licence plate, the date and time of drop-off and pick-up, the type of space, whether you chose cleaning, flight numbers if you give them, the language of the site, and the time of booking and your agreement to the terms.
• When you arrive: the details needed to issue a receipt.
• In the yard: video surveillance footage, which may show cars and people.
• When you visit the site: your IP address and technical details of the request, logged by the server.
• When you call or write to us: the content of the message and your contact details.

We do not collect payment card details, as payment is in cash.

• Carrying out the booking, the parking and the transfer, including following your flight's landing — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• The confirmation email and messages about your booking — performance of a contract.
• A single request for a Google review two days after your parking ends — legitimate interest (point (f) of Article 6(1)). If you would rather not receive it, tell us by email or phone.
• Issuing and keeping receipts — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• Video surveillance of the yard to protect cars and property — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), in line with the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2). A notice about the surveillance is displayed in the yard.
• Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse of the booking form — legitimate interest.

We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing, and we do not send you promotional messages without your consent.

Your data is processed only by providers we need to run the service, acting on our instructions:

• Vercel Inc., USA — website hosting on servers in the EU (Ireland),
• Supabase Inc., USA — storing bookings on servers in the EU (Ireland),
• Resend, USA — sending confirmation emails through servers in the EU (Ireland),
• Mapbox, Inc., USA — showing the map (see section 7),
• an accounting service — only the details on issued receipts.

Bookings are stored and processed on servers in the EU. As these providers are based in the USA, access to the data from the USA is possible. Such a transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider takes part in it, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which form part of the data processing agreements with these providers.

We pass data to public authorities only where the law requires it.

• Booking details: two years after the end of parking.
• Receipt details: as long as tax law requires.
• Video surveillance footage: no longer than 30 days.
• Server logs: no longer than 30 days.

When the period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

If you give a flight number when booking, we use it to follow publicly available landing times, so we are at arrivals when you come back. The flight number is optional.

The site does not use cookies, including for analytics or advertising.

On a computer, the site shows an interactive map from Mapbox. It stores an anonymous device identifier in your browser and sends Mapbox data about map loads, which Mapbox uses to bill the service. On a phone only a picture of the map is shown, which stores nothing in your browser. We show the map to tell you where we are and how far the airport is; the legal basis is our legitimate interest. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools. You can delete the identifier at any time in your browser settings, under site data.

The WhatsApp button and the links to Google Maps take you to other providers' sites, where their own privacy policies apply.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send requests to info@parkingahcin.com. We reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

The connection to the site is encrypted. Bookings are available only to the people who need them to provide the service, and the website reaches them only through its server.

We may change this policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date it came into force.
